Each year we pick a select cadre of graduates to complete our Graduate Management Scheme. This comprises of a 2 year rotational programme, with graduates spending time in all areas of the business including site production, sales and marketing, commercial, land and finance. Management skills development and mentoring form a critical part of the programme. Our aim is to equip ambitious and determined new talent to be able to achieve director status within a 5 year timescale. Graduates have the opportunity to take part in business development projects and develop their leadership skills through working in different regional operations throughout their training period.

Successful applicants for our Management Trainee Programme are usually school or college leavers who wish to gain professional qualifications while working full time. Trainees start by gaining a general appreciation of the business, and complete day release studies to equip them to become a qualified professional. Typical roles that Management Trainees are appointed into include Quantity Surveyor, Buyer, Marketing Assistant, and Finance Assistant.
We continue our history of providing apprenticeship opportunities for new talent wishing to gain site based qualifications. Apprenticeships typically last between 3 and 4 years. The majority of time is spent working with the production teams on site, and trainees will be supported by a mentor while working with experienced trades people. All apprentices will gain formal qualifications through day release programmes. Typical apprenticeships include bricklaying, carpentry and joinery.
